Brief:
Commissioned by Expo Dubai 2020 commissioned us to paint a canvas to be displayed on site during the expo. The brief was to develop an visual concept that focuses on the Future and Connectivity.
What we did:
Storyboard, Concept Development, Digital Illustration and a finished hand painted canvas.
Rationale:
We explored how connected we are to technology and what things may look like in the future. Where do we end and technology begins. Our dependence on technology has wired us into its mainframe. Are we becoming one?
We posed these questions in our focus groups, and came up with a representation of the human race through a female figure, the mother of all life, pixelating into the future of technology.
One of the largest canvases we have painted at 4.5 metres wide, painted using acyllic, spray paint, and glossy enamel.
